Mexico: Loreto Weekend

{ Is the seashell heart too much? }
Our friend Shannon booked a flight down to Loreto for a weekend in Mexico. Sometimes you just need a margarita straight from the source. And yes, we may have been regulars at Orlando's over the weekend but they have the best margs, what can you do?!

Since I loved Play Santispac from when my mom and I camped there during our Baja road trip, Shannon, Laura and I rented a car and packed up the dog to drive north for the day. The road along the Sea of Cortez is beautiful and as long as you can remember a left blinker doesn't mean the car in front of you is turning left, driving in Baja isn't hard, since Mexico 1 is in good condition.

We pulled up to Anna's Restaurant at Play Santispac by lunch to feast on tacos and quesadillas. For a restaurant in the middle of no where their food is top notch. Following lunch we rented two kayaks and paddled around the bay. The wind picked up by the afternoon so we spent our hour battling the wind and winding through the sail boats anchored off shore.

The next few days we spent walking Bailey along the Malecon in Loreto, swimming at the pool and eating. If there was any question, we definitely became regulars at the pool. We had to get our MexiTAN!
