Ho Chi Minh City Backpacker Guide: Eat and Drink

Below are a few of my favorite places from when I lived in Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnamese, eat:
Bahn mi (sandwich) - for breakfast with an egg
Quan An Ngon - the best Vietnamese street food at a French styled restaurant
Ben Than Market - it is all about the steak and eggs

Western, eat:
Au Parc - the cutest restaurant off the park. My home away from home. The table muster is to die for.
Annam Gourmet Market -  on the second level they make great sandwiches and cheese plates.
Black Cat - if you want a taste of Western food, they have huge hamburgers.
Le Pub - Vietnamese and Western food. Located on a little side street in Pham Ngu Lao.
They also have trivia once a week.

Drinks:
Apocalypse Now
Pacharan Tapas and Bodega
Czech Beer Garden
Lush - Tuesday ladies night
Sheridan's Irish House

Vietnam: Seattle Arrived

Seattle has arrived in Ho Chi Minh! Laura, Paul, Gavin and John have moved to Vietnam to teach English. September was busy and a blast. Setting them up with job interviews, phones, motorbikes, and showing them all the spots in HCMC that I have grown to love.
